I started my music journalism/blogging career in 2010 for a now-defunct website called The Metal Register. I soon moved on to Heavy Blog Is Heavy, and in 2013 I joined Metal Injection as their main news writer and album reviewer. More so the former (currently at 11,000+ posts) as I work on bolstering the latter.
Outside Metal Injection, I contribute monthly album picks to Invisible Oranges and briefly ran my own reviews blog called Mostly Yelling to hone my reviewing skills. My past bylines also include AltPress and Pop Break.
I have guested on the podcasts Being in a Band and Dumb & Dumbest to discuss everything from media pitching methods to use of social media, as well as my own writing.
